Description
“Antarctica” is a film-journey by Anton Ptushkin to the Ukrainian Antarctic station “Akademik Vernadsky”. It is a story about people who explore the future of the planet, living in conditions where there are no shops, trees and personal space. The film tells about the challenges of the icy continent and everyday life on the station, about the importance of climate observations and about why Ukraine is among the few countries that have a full-fledged presence in Antarctica. It is a story about science, melting glaciers and, of course, about penguins.
