The Ukrainian premiere of the film "Kitchen" with Rooney Mara and Raul Briones in the lead roles.

This highly aesthetic black-and-white film deals with the topic of migrant work in the United States.

The film is based on the famous stage play by Arnold Wesker. In the center of the plot is the kitchen of a New York restaurant, where the cultures of the whole world are intertwined. Personal and professional passions boil here: the romance between the waitress Julia (Rooney Mara) and the Mexican chef Pedro (Raúl Briones) unfolds under the pressure of a demanding job in a busy establishment.

"Kitchen" celebrated its premiere in the main competition of the 74th Berlinale.

The works of Mexican director Alonso Ruizpalacios have been presented at many international film festivals, in particular he won the prize for the best feature debut at the Berlinale in 2015.
