Photo exhibition “The View of the Strong” at MLYN design hub. When a look speaks louder than words.

This August, the photo exhibition “The View of the Strong” will be shown in the exhibition space of MLYN design hub (Kyiv): a deep, emotionally rich visual story about Ukrainian military intelligence. In the lens are the soldiers of the “Artan” special unit: those whose work remains off-screen, but is often of decisive importance.
This is not a story about the war itself, it is about people who go through it every day and preserve themselves. The exhibition consists of 180 portraits. Balaclavas hide their faces, but not their looks, in which there is determination, exhaustion, but at the same time hope. This is an attempt to show not only a function, but a person. The way they are — real.

The project was implemented in collaboration with leading Ukrainian photo artists:
Konstantyn Liberov, Gennady Kravchenko, Hryhoriy Vepryk and Oleg Chumov.
Four photographers - one voice. The voice of respect.
“This is an invitation to look into the eyes of those whom we usually perceive only as symbols. But behind every symbol is a person. And they deserve to be seen exactly like that.”
