Description
Based on the novel of the same name by the scandalous beatnik William S. Burroughs. The film tells the story of William Lee, a 40-year-old American immigrant in Mexico City. He leads a lonely, measured life, changing locations from one bar to another, where he seeks peace in a glass of tequila and company for the evening. On one of these evenings, William meets an attractive student who evokes a remarkable range of feelings in the hero.
