Description
Hector and Angela, who is deaf, love each other and live in mutual understanding. They both eagerly await the birth of their child, but its arrival creates unexpected challenges. Unable to hear the baby's cries, Angela becomes dependent on her husband for care, who remains the child's only connection to the world of sounds. When the woman begins to doubt her ability to be a good mother, she must find her own way to her daughter, convincing herself and the world that a mother's love does not require hearing.
