The play «Taxi Driver» is an unusual interpretation of Ray Cooney's classic comedy «Run for Your Wife» or, as everyone is used to, "Too Married Taxi Driver", which unfolds in the intimate atmosphere of a chamber scene.

 

In the center of the plot is a clever taxi driver whose life resembles a jewelry-tuned watch: two addresses, two stamps in a passport and one perfectly verified love schedule that never fails. However, just one random event triggers an irreversible mechanism of chaos, knocking the hero out of the usual rut. Who is the real thief in this story: a man who loves life too much, or a fatal coincidence that leaves no chance for salvation? Now he will have to maneuver in a maze of piquant misunderstandings and curious confessions, where each subsequent turn only adds drive and risk.
