The collection of 5 international short films SUNNY BUNNY continues one of the cross-cutting themes of the festival, including its Ukrainian program: the struggle for and regaining what is rightfully ours, which the community has been deprived of and is still being deprived of by the authorities, empires, colonizers, and hetero-majorities. The decolonization struggle in general rhymes and intersects with the struggle of queer people for their rights, lives, and spaces, and its relevance in Ukraine is extraordinary.
