The events of the film take place in Lemberg (Lviv) in 1897. The main character Amelia Kryzhevska-Zeg returns to the family estate where she grew up after a honeymoon. The woman is full of hopes for the future and dreams of opening her own pharmacy. But gradually the childhood home turns into an insidious trap, and Amelia's plans into unfulfilled desires. The husband wants her money, the maid - her place, the cook - her death. In the house where her father invented light, darkness now reigns. But who will be the last one left in the game when emotions become weapons? Everyone wants to feel her, seduce her, possess her, but who really wants her?
